This 40 year old building lacked any documentation to guide the design/build team led by Meade. To design and build a compact imaging suite featuring the Siemens Emotion 6 CT scanner required balancing the requirements of the equipment, the facilities and the town's rigid interpretation of the Building Code.

All mechanical equipment was relocated above the ceiling to maximize floor space. Under-floor power conduit were exposed and wrapped in lead to prevent interference with the CT instrumentation. New power service was run to triple the amperage available at the suite.
