Sequoia Hospital retrofitted an out-of-date angiography suite to accommodate a Siemans Sensation 16 CT Scanner. This required extensive containment and infection control measures in order to prevent any impact on critical procedures taking place in adjacent rooms. Meade set up a negative air system and rigorous cleanliness measures, as well as methods for regular detailed communication with affected Hospital staff. A temporary perimeter wall was erected outside the corridor wall which was partially demolished and reconfigured.

The project included changes to the perimeter walls and doorways and construction of a new control room to service this CT Scanner and an existing one in an adjacent room. A new chiller and electrical service were installed remote from the CT suite and utilities were routed through occupied hospital corridors and other spaces, necessitating special coordination and protective measures.
